I assume at least a third of people on this list use some sort of
vision correction. I'm very near-sighted, and my glasses have an
annoying chromatic aberration and possibly other issues. I need to
get new specs soon, and am considering LASIK surgery as an
alternative. My decision will be based on a lot of things, of course,
but I'm curious what the implications are for my work with color
prepress. If I get new glasses, is there a certain kind of lens to
ask for that would be best for color work? Contacts aren't an
option for me, and for that matter I don't know if they'd be any
better. I'm also thinking a little bit about LASIK surgery -- are
there any implications for someone who works with color & prepress
stuff? Thanks, -Steve
PS: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no responses on this list about the pros and
cons of LASIK in general, only the implications for color perception
as compared to eyeglasses.
