how do i get my monitor to use colorsync (heck, im not even sure what
it does...) anyway, could not find it on
the list of monitors ...
Laura
Normally:
Colorsync uses a monitor profile. One is currently in use by your
system (and colorsync if it is turned on). You can determine which
profile to use in several different ways, but here are the basics:
System Folder>Control Panels>Monitors determines which profile is
used by the system to display colors. All this really does is change
the System Folder>ColorSync Profiles Folder>Display Profiles>Alias to
point at whichever profile is to be used (do Find Info on alias for
location of profile).
However, also normally it is better to give advice knowing a bit more
than the usual good guess.
What OS are you using?
Which version of Colorsync helps.
Do you know for sure if there is or is not a profile on your system
for this monitor?
If so, where is it located? If not, no biggee. You can make one and
this list can tell you how.
Unless of course you want mumbling...then I refer you to Neil Snape
