Because Epson does not give us artists access to CMYK directly,
we have no control over any of this anyway. Does Roland?
The Scanvec RIPS have individual color channel density controls. Ink
control is contained within the profiling application side of the
larger (ColorCal in PhotoPrint and PhotoPrintServer) profiling
applications.
As to whether or not true direct ink control actually exists in a
stochastic screening environment (through the RIP) is a question
which begs an answer from the developer of the RIP table.
Silver absorbes all colors, including infrared, almost equally,
so Ansel Adams never had this problem.
But he had Georgia O'Keefe. She was quite absorbing.
