I am prettymuch sold on the Eyeone, but does anyone have any comments on >the
Profile City software? I would appreciate any information.
I haven't purchased the ProfileCity Software (yet) but I just came from a
presentation on it and it is phenomenal. I currently use ColorBlind Pro and
have had great success, but the profile city software is much more up to date
and more user friendly. By the way, in case you didn't know, the profile city
software was actually created by the original developers of color blind. But
the best part of the software is that you can buy modules instead of the all
the components. You don't have to buy the Pro suite of profile software if,
for instance you are only printing to CMYK deveices, you can just buy the CMYK
suite. Or if you looking to just do digital cameras, you can buy just the
digital camera profiler. This is probably the biggest selling point for me.
As for the gretag eye one. I have seen it at work and looks very interesting.
I like the fact that it is a spectrophotometer and that you only have to buy
one device for both print and monitor calibrating. I will most likely purchase
one of these also when I get the profile city stuff.
