What do you use to profile an Apple 22" LCD?

Wondering what is the best(reasonably affordable) way to make a colorsync
profile of the Cinema 22" LCD Display. Does one need expensive hardware,
because after forking over $6000AUS + extra for a ADC to DVI Connector, I
may need to sell my car soon.
