I4ve used Leaf DCBII for some years and I find this piece of software very
interresting
but before ordering one I would like somebody to describe the actual
process/way of use
to make sure that this is something we would gain from !?

Using ICC DCam is quite easy. It is a Photoshop plug-in filter. Capture and open a Gretag/Macbeth ColorChecker or ColorCheckerDC in Photoshop. Select ICC DCam from under the filter menu. Drag the cropping tool in the filter to crop the target correctly. Select the reference file from the folder that was placed on the desk-top during installation. Name your profile and select create. In a few moments the profile will be in the ColorSync folder and ready to use.

The only option in ICC DCam is selecting "Camera Gray". If this is selected the filter is expecting the capture software to have provided a gray balanced image and the resulting profile will correct for hue and saturation only.
