Hi all,

Thanks for the replies; I've decided to go for the Mitsu, the 2060u if
it's available here. otherwise the 2040u.

I'll also try some cable fiddling with the previous LaCie, to see if that
alleviates the problem. (I'm now using the supplied LaCie cable, on the
standard video of a 450MP Mac. It's not the degauss btw, I already tried
that numerous times.)
