Dye Based Inks

We have found that pigmented inks are very metameric. The color can appear quite different depending on the viewing conditions. Since profiles are created for a D50 viewing condition most pigmented ink profiles will look quite good in a D50 light booth but as soon as you get to a different lighting the color appears to be unacceptable.

We have been on the case at ProfileCity and are now offering upon request a suite of three profiles for dye or pigmented ink sets. One at D50 one slightly cooler and one slightly warmer. All three profiles are only $179. The concept is you should be able to select one of the three foe your viewing conditions.
