I just spent two days profiling an Epson 9500 and 2000P. What I found was
that under the lights we had (Solux, not your typical lightbox), the color
wasn't so hot. What I found was that viewing the prints under tungsten
lights (we had hot lights in the studio plus plain vanilla desk lamps) we
got the most pleasing results. Go figure. The gray balance and overall
prints looked best under Tungsten and got worse from there.
