'The Printing Ink Manual' published by Van Nostrand Rheinhold is a
comprehensive reference. Otherwise GATFPress and Pira International
(www.gatf.org and www.pira.com) are good sources of literature on
printing inks in English. Pira are currently publishing Ron Todd's new
book on inks, and Bob Thompson's recent book on printing materials is
also useful.

The European inkmakers' confederation CEPE (www.cepe.org) might also be
useful. They published a 3-language glossary of ink terminology in 1990.
