Purchase a transmissive IT8 chart to build transmissive scanner profiles.

As for profiling the Epson 3000, you would be best served if you picked

I did not receive any IT8 charts when I purchased my upgrade from
PosterShop 4.5 to 5.0, so I'll have to check with Onyx on that one. The
scanner profile feature must be new with 5.0 and this brings up a
question; I'm not that familiar with SCSI cards for the NT and I will
need one for attaching my Howtek 7500, can anyone recommend a good SCSI
card for MicroSoft NT 4.xx? Thanks for alerting me to this new feature.
As to using Press Ready, can this still be purchased and if so where? In
this situation my client is not attempting to proof files that are
headed to Offset Press, so I'm not sure the added benefits of having
Press Ready will matter. We simply want to take my paper from my large
format printers and profile it on his Epson 3000. This way he can work
on his Photoshop art projects and proof them on the actual material the
final full size files will be printed on. So you see black generation
will be very similar since we are only dealing with inkjet output and my
drum scans for him are in RGB and stay that way through the whole
workflow. So, with this added info do you feel the Epson driver will
suffice or would you still recommend Press Ready?
Thanks,
David Wollmann.
