Yes, PrintROOM, with the Pixelis RIP...
As far as I know ProofROOM (from Pixelis) does descreen the high-res
imagesetter files, and then processes them. Applies colormanagement (to
RGB) and passes to the OS's printer driver.
By "True Dot" I mean softwares that instead of descreening and
rescreening (or passing to the driver as CT), "adapt" the original
halftone dot to a lower resolution and then print it.
