Hi list
The ICC User Survey is a very good idea. I have put my experiences and wishes in, and I think every user of colormanagement-technology should do this too. This is definitely not a
place only for color geeks. The ICC is asking for the user experiences to make colormanagement more useful. There are a lot of points where you can tell the ICC what are your
problems and whishes. My whishes are e.g:
- Clear Interface guidelines for applications
- printer drivers on system level with full and transparent support of colormanagement
- a standard RGB-working space on system-level with support in every application
- eps-support in applications for graphic design and layout
- test-files and guidelines for quality evaluation in colormanagement-workflows
- No more whitepoint problems
If you have the same or other wishes... let it the ICC know. This is the chance for us - the users - to work together with the vendors on more stable and understandable
colormanagement-workflows. Even if you are a beginner. Tell the ICC what are your problems !!! Colormanagement should be definitely a easy working solution.

The Research Implementation Working Group of the ICC is seeking user
feedback to help improve the present specification and to define
requirements for new architectures. You have an opportunity to share your
experiences and views in a survey located at the following URL:

We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance for your time.
For the ICC,
