And how about that 200inchx200inch workspace. |ber dude...it rocks!
I sometimes get an uncomfortable feeling that Americans think of
Scandinavia as part of the North Pole, polar bears and all, or part
of Germany, swinging beer mugs and all -:).
I don't know how this technology works. I'm just trying to learn how
it works. And to learn that I pick up the phone and ask ...
endlessly. When I figure something out, I turn it into a phrase,
'Density control comes before color control' or whatever. It's just
mnemonics, it's not technological clairvoyance. To be honest with
you, I doubt anybody knows how this stuff really works. I read the
Photoshop 6 manual the other day. It's wrong, the *a and *b cutoffs
are misstated at +/- 120 (page 112), and I can't make heads or tails
of what's the space being proofed and the space doing the proofing.
My take is that if enough of us know about the grand strategy level,
we'll be better off at the tactical level for self-support. There is
an lot of bunkum being bartered around, and has been for a long time.
I believe in self-support, and not in support by others. It's also
part of what this list is about. Self-support based on sharing of
information has been part of the Mac community from the start. I like
that, it's a good set of values that reaches beyond just things
technical.
