Grayscale P2P

Hi Group!

In my Photoshop setup I use the black channel of my offset
profile as workingspace for grayscale images.

Now I got some grayscales from a customer that had some default
gamma 2.2 profile embedded.
How do I P2P this into my "black channel of my cmyk profile" ?

When I select the cmyk profile as target photoshop converts the image
to cmyk.

Any clue ?
