I've been using the supplied grey background for a long time on a dual
screen set up. On calibration the grey comes out almost the same using
ProveIt! considering one is a Diamondtron , the other a Sony. Although
Linocolor ships a so called neutral background I prefer the Apple grey.
Unless you have a Barco or Quato using multi point gun correction looking
any further is splitting hairs. Rather split hairs on output devices......
