Profiling the machine itself should not be a too big problem (at least
provided you have access to a Spectroscan T or maybe a DTP 41/T) but I'm
afraid that this may not be what you really want.
So it actually depends on what you do with the slides. Do you make prints
or do you use them for presentations with a projector? If this is the
case you should profile the final output which is quite simple for the
prints but even more complicated with the projections.
I heard of some new spectrophotometer capable of reading over some
distance but didn't ever verify if such a device is already available and
for what price. You might want to contact me and I'll try to find out
some informations on this mysterious device.
