Using your monitor space as your Photoshop workingspace is not the generally
recommended method, though it simplifies a couple issues by making
differences small enough to ignore. I'd recommend moving to AdobeRGB as your
workingspace, leaving your monitor profile as is, and ending up with files in
a universal, balanced workingspace, not crammed into your monitor's
colorspace.
