I'd like more information on ISO 12647. I wasn't aware there was actual
measurement data for 12647. What target is this data based on? Is there
now coated, uncoated and newsprint data? Is there a way to download this
data somewhere and build profiles based on it, or are there profiles
already built?
Is there any information on the deviation of 12647 for coated and
uncoated printing compared to actual coated/uncoated printing in the
U.S.? What about in regards to 12647-3?
I knew that this was being worked on, and was the goal of ISO 12647, but
last I'd checked there wasn't official measurement data that everyone had
agreed to to elevate ISO 12647 to that of SWOP/TR001.
BTW, does ISO 12647 have a section with publication measurement data? I
was under the impression that SWOP/TR001 would be incorporated into one
of the ISO standards - perhaps 12647.
12647-3 is newsprint. Where does sheetfed coated, uncoated and web
publication fall under? What's 12647-1 and -2?
I think that's a personal record for number of questions in a single
posting, at least publically.
