It's a question which bothers me quite a long time and I simply don't have a
clear answer for myself.

When I send a cmyk file from Europe to the U.S. with no profile embedded,
will the result in print, printed on the same paper and under the same
printing conditions differ from when printed in Europe and if so, what shall
be the difference in colourreproduction? Is there any cast of color? If not
then why should I use a SWOP profile or should U.S. use a Euroscale profile
when sending to the oposite areas? I'm aware of the difference in GCR
between the two standards.

Are the cmyk ink standards different in SWOP and Euroscale?
