Friends
I have a friend who has an Epson 7500 [newly delivered]. He's
up the road a while so I've not been able to visit yet but I
wanted to ask if anyone had any experience profiling the beast
[no rip].
I have heard many tales of terrible *"metamerism" problems with
the Epson 2000P to the extent Epson they are buying them back in
large numbers.
[* I realize that this is somewhat misusing the term "metamerism"
but hope you will accept that this is a commonly used term for the
problem users are experiencing with their 2000P's.]
I understood that the issue with the 2000P is that the 'archival"
pigmented inks suffer form a changing colour balance when moved
between differing lighting environments.
If the inks in the 7500 are the same as the 2000P I guess we can
look forward to the same problems?
