Friends

Does the woman's skin-tone always look dark and a little unhealthy
in a profiled scan of a Kodak IT8 transmissive?

I mean - if I use a raw IT8 drumscan to make a profile, then pass
that scan to my workingspace via the profile in order to check
the profile's effectiveness.

I find it difficult to understand why the scan [after assigining
the profile and converting to workingspace] doesn't match the
appearance of the actual transparency target on a light box
[within reason] - but I've never seen it look good on any profile
I've made.

I think this is normal but I had a moment of indecision!

with thanks
neilB
