Would this work

Dear Colorsyncers

One of the things I'm going try to do in my new job is to profile the
backlit photographic material used in a Gretag Lightjet 430. Regular printed
material I've done many times over on many different printers. We don't have
the profiling software/hardware yet, but could I use an I1 spectro to read the
profile file on transparent material layed over a D50 light box? Or would
reading the file with a Spectroscan T work to gather the readings to make the
profile?
Any advise or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Pete
