I've built all kinds of profiles to all kinds of devices with different
paper stocks with the EyeOne and haven't seen a single issue with UV. I
don't know enough about the light source of the two devices to argue about
the merits of one over the other (I own both) but I can say that the EyeOne
performs just as well as the Spectrocam (in many cases better) and I've been
using it extensively for the last 6-8 months.
