Ekta or ProPhoto are neutralized, large gamut spaces that captures can be
converted to as a way to remove images from the non-neutral, device specific
space they were captured in, and instead place them in a universal
workingspace. Some workflows avoid this step, but most still use an RGB
workingspace for archiving and processing.
