It's not always obvious which papers you'd need the UV filter with. For
example, Epson's Premium Semigloss Photo Paper is dead from a UV standpoint
but Epson's Archival Matte fairly glows in the dark when subjected to a
blacklight!
My advice would be to get yourself an inexpensive *fluorescent* blacklight
(not the cheapo incandescent kind - $15-20 at Radio Shack if you're in the
US) and "sample" a few of the papers you use. If they glow under blacklight,
get yourself the UV filter. Either way, I'd get the UV filter as I believe
they're only charging $75 for them now (used to be $125).
