I essentially have my 'Lino UV filter mounted all the time with the idea
that "it may not always help but it can't hurt" and haven't encountered what
you describe.
Are you taking multiple readings per patch? I HAVE heard rumors that if you
take multiple readings of each patch that it can result in a "darker"
profile compared to taking single patch readings. Because of this rumor, if
I need "multiple" readings, I read the chart as single patches but create
multiple sets of measurement data and then use the average function to get a
"master" set of data. Works for me.
