Well, Quark 3.3.x is not capable to understand ICC profiles, no chance.
Quark 4.0.x should work, but it is not really accurate in order to print high res color on a
desktop Epson or any other printer.
Document profiles:
RGB Default: Adobe RGB 1998
CMYK Default: Euroscale Coated v2 (in the US: US Sheetfed (un)coated v2)
Gray Default: Generic Gray Profile
Lab Default: Adobe Photoshop CIELAB
Device Profiles:
Input: Well, depends from your source...
Display: e.g.: Studio Display 21
Output: Euroscale Coated v2 (may of course be different e.g. US Sheetfed (un-) coated)
Proof: Epson Stylus Photo Quality
This applies to Mac OS 9.x / Mac OS X
We used it to layout the complete GoLive 5 book (Smart Books Publishing, Switzerland) using Mac OS
X Public Beta, InDesign 1.5.2 and Photoshop 6.
Great, no problems. (Take care InDesign 1.5 was buggy, 1.5.2 works fine ;-)
Perhaps this suggestions (you may of course change them for your specific workflow) may be
helpful.
