Definetely I don't want to build neither 6 nor 8-color profiles! I'm only
trying to understand why ColorChoice consider 4-color ICC profiles made by
Roland as 8-color, but the same 4-color profiles made by me it consider as
4-color.
When I've set Ink Set to 8 color, ColorChoice do not want to see my
profiles. The only way to make him to see my profiles is to set 4 colors in
the Ink Set. But in this case printer prints without Orange, Green, LC and
LM.
It looks like Roland own profiles contain some tags (like after BEST Profile
Keeper) which tell to ColorChoice RIP to activate built-in transformation
from 4-color to 8-color. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't see any other reason
of this problem.
