Managed workflow? All input is greatly appreciated.
Things will be fast changing in the LCD market, but the current choice for
controlled LCD color would be the Apple 22" Cinema Display, and its 17"
Studio sibling.
While it is possible to build a competent profile for these LCDs with the
SpectroCam or EyeOne, the most flexible software for monitor work is OptiCAL,
which does not currently support either of these devices. So for its advanced
features, testing and experimenting using OptiCAL and the LCD/CRT Spyder
would be ideal. Its lower price tag would not be your major consideration for
this single installation; and when you consider wider application, multiple
user pricing would be the focus.
