Wolf,
I know you make IT8 targets and you are close to the reality you describe.
But according to ANSI IT8.7/1 and /2-1993, on page 9, C4 is supposed to be
the maximum Chroma at the given L* and Hue angle?
Why would'nt they do this? Wouldn't they be shooting themselves in the foot?
In a related note, I have heard that the gamut of Slide Duplicate films is
even larger than that of regular film? Does that match your experience? And
there would not be any IT8 for those? Is this something you've been asked in
the past?
