Ok,
Switching to Adobe (ACE) CMM did solve the original problem (deleting
area left 1% K). But it created another problem, when looking at our
color files, they have changed.
Our original settings were as follows:
Colorsync CMM was Kodak CMM, (we use Kodak's profile making software)
Photoshop: RGB (Adobe RGB (1998)), CMYK (U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2),
Gray (Dot Gain 10%), Spot (Dot Gain 20%)
Management Policies: RGB (Off), CMYK (Preserve embedded profiles), Gray (off)
Conversion Options: Engine (Kodak CMM), Intent (Perceptual)
Now, we could load setting for when we're working on grayscale, and
load settings when working on color, but it sure would be nice to
have both. What do we have to do to achieve this?
Any help greatly appreciated,
Dave
