You compare apples with pears, it is not possible that the fuji show you the
same colors like your CMYK output. The gamut of both systems is not the same
and you get different results. We had done the same test with a Lambda, but
we send CMYK separated Files to the lambda and convert them back to RGB via
profile. The result was a perfect proof of our reference print.
What I mean is, that you must know the final destination for your printout
to get a correct proof.
For your example you must separate at first the RGB to your CMYK destination
(final data). Then you can use your CMYK profile as destination Profile
(Reference Profile) in each ICC based Rip and convert it via Proof Profile
(in our Best Software = Paper Profile)to your proofing system.
I know, it is not easy to get good results from RGB in CMYK printouts. In
the past the old scanner operators had the knowledge how to handle RGB and
separate them to CMYK, but this was a long walk for them to get the
knowledge. Now everyone want do this via one mouse click. I think there is
somthing wrong in the color world.
