I once saw the same thing on a G3. The problem was related to "Trinitron"
phosphors selection in the monitor profile. Can't remember whether this is
an Adobe Gamma or Monitors control panel issue. Try creating a new monitor
profile by loading one of the existing vendor monitor profiles with the
monitors control panel or Adobe Gamma, calibrate, but do not select
Trinitron phosphors if this option presents itself.
A search of the Adobe knowledge base for "yellow display" should turn up
some info. Yet I don't recall seeing any vendor clearly own the bug.
Anyway, this is *not* a HW problem.
