Optical on Mac Dual 800

I've just been told by Tech Support at ColorVision that Optical 3.1 for the
Macintosh does not support the G-4 Dual 800 Processor Quicksilver machine.
Has anyone else encountered this or do they have Optical up and running on
a Dual 800?

If not Optical then what monitor calibration software is recommended?
