The thing most likely to cause problems (other
than a bad output profile)
Can you elaborate on this point? I am using a canned profile and am
wondering what I should be looking for to determine whether it is
good quality or not. I have run tests in Photoshop converting R 255 G
255 B 255 to the canned profile, and I get C1 M0 Y1 K0, not what I
should get (I am using perceptual or relative colorimetric). I am
well aware of scum dot problems with some CMMs, but I am using the
Adobe ACE CMM, so is this an indication of a poor quality profile?
is the temporal nature of laser based systems...
the results may change with the weather, temperature, and especially the
humidity.
I have been looking for a long time for in depth information on this.
Do anyone know of sources of information on colour variablility in
laser based devices?
Thanks for the help.
