I have found, many times, that ANY delays
I find on my machine
can be traced back to fonts.
I know it is not colorsync or anything glomorous,
but
fonts are a pain.
Make sure only the city fonts are in the system folder
and you are not running conflicts in your
font handling application.
You never know !
