Profiling an Epson

Back to basics question here: When printing out the patches in order to
profile an epson inkjet (from Photoshop) what "space" do I print to? I know
I turn off any kind of color adjustment and disable "Printer Color Mgt.),
but do I print to "RGB Color" or do I print to my chosen RGB working sace,
Adobe RGB(1998)?
