Hi Adriano,
When calibrating Best Color with Epsons with my DTP-41 and PO 4 I've
tried many option, the best way I found was always to make your
clients reference ICC (Cromalin, PressMatch) don't use Best Color's
suplied reference files, cause they usualy don't match Brazilian
analog proofing or Offset printing. Profile the Epson paper as CMY
not CMYK. Other way you always get anoying black points in the dark
areas. Even with "No Black" option they still there on Epson
5000,7000 and 9000. Bad experiences here with ColorBlind Pro 3.6 too.
Now always gets them in the first run with a few curve adjustments.
Regards
Atenciosamente,

Hi everybody,
I found a curious thing. In Colorblind documentation and ProfilePro, there are
recomendated setups to create a Inkjet ICC profiles eg. there are a
accentuated black curve -little bit more in PP defaults instead ColorBlind
defaults.
But in recents posts to Best (Mr. Ulf) and Purup-Eskofot (Mr. Mike), they told
me that a lot of my troubles its about this same black curve- eg. in a tipical
and trouble free situation, would be a skeleton black, NOT a GCR-medium-black
curve.
Well, I missing something at this point?
Very thanks.

Ps: Yes, I know that are metamerism problems with grays, but I guess that is a
limit print/view condition......right?
