Hi folks,
This question perhaps its a little bit out of topic, anyway I hope to get some
help here.
In the last two months I receive claim's of my customers about horizontal (the
same way of printing process) "fails" (in fact It's a peculiar type of fail,
because are no 'gaps' in print, only horizontal lightness of each color) in
that color (some times Cyan, sometimes magenta, some times black).
Its more easy to saw that in medium size objets with uniform fill colors.
Things to consider:
- This happen in 5 epson 3000 ( about 1 year old )
- Yes, we carefully check gaps in diagonal paterns and vertical printhead
aligns.
- In some epsons we change the print head, and the problem persist.
- using 720 dpi or 1440 / non-epson-semiglossy paper / with Best or ORIS
- These printers work very well about a year with this combination.
- Epson Repair Service was inspected these printers, and told me that are ok.
- I try to change the paper with a Semmimatte Guardian Proof, and the
horizontal lightness still happen.
- I try too to change the paper position for reprinting and the position of
fails change too.
Well, I will really appreciate any advice, and let me know if I could not
express my self clear enough.
Best regards,
