Martin, there is a problem with the way Classic handles profiles.

Okay, this is where I'm having problems. After MUCH fiddling I've figured
out what you describe and can live with that, but my problem is that I can't
access the Classic monitor control panel if I'm using my normal two display
setup. It completely crashes the system; either immediately when launched
or when I click the color button. Several programs running under Classic
have the same affect when they try to access the second monitor. My dual
display setup works perfectly in OS 9 or OS-X, but gets real flaky in
Classic. Is this a problem with Classic or my video card? I'm using a
fairly old ATI card to drive the second monitor in a G4 twin 400. Is anyone
getting proper service from a second monitor while running Classic and if
so, what's your setup? I feel I'm going to be stuck in Classic for quite a
while as I wait for some critical Photoshop plug-ins to be updated for OS-X.
I really need to find a way to use Photoshop with two monitors in Classic
and have the correct profile on at least one of them. Right now I can't do
that.
