When I open directly in 0S 9.2, under Display/ Color- there are numerous
profiles listed. When I open in the Classic Mode using 0S X.1.2, the
only
profiles I can choose from are my ColorBlind Prove It/ Sensor generated
profile, Generic RGB, sRGB, and SM 900 NF (my monitor). Why don't the
others that are in the System/ Library show up?
First we got rid of a bunch of the old display profiles, and second not
all of those profiles in /System/Library are valid display profiles.
You can't have an XYZ profile for your display.
Also my monitor has the
exact same appearance when I choose either Generic RGB or my Colorblind
Prove It profile, leading me to wonder whether or not the Colorblind
Prove
It profile is correct.
The Prove It profile either doesn't have a VCGT tag, or its tag is
really close the the one in the Generic RGB profile. The VCGT tag
contains the lut, it's what makes the display visibly change when you
select it.
