and cooking them in the dry mount press for 40 to 50 seconds at 1800.
They came out warm and steamy and dried completely in a matter of
minutes. Then I'd flip the rag board, dry side in, and cook some more
prints.
It would be interesting to let them dry normally, then cook them and
measure both to do a comparison. It wouldn't surprise me if cooking (in
this case literally) could substantially alter the inks' color
behavior, and some inksets would likely be more susceptible than
others. I've had some inkjet prints in cardboard, so no light exposure,
baked in my car for an afternoon. They were profile targets, and I made
a profile based on them. They didn't work so well. That was a few years
ago though, it was for an old (even at the time) Novajet.
