The Epson's yellow ink tank color is quite orange and saturated with not as
much lightness as process yellow. If you're trying to profile your printer
to CMYK then this is normal that the yellow will add cyan trying to
compensate for the orange and up the cyan in the pure yellow. IT may also to
a lesser degree do this with rgb of coursed linked to how the paper produces
the solid yellows before profiling.
So this is actually normal (depending on how much cyan is there). IF you can
linearise the printer before you need to reduce the yellow ink lay down so
that it's lightness is higher, which makes for better yellows in the
profile.
