It has always seemed to me that % dot gain was just that (%dot gain).
If I have a 50% dot,
and get 20% gain ...
will I not end up with a 60% dot (NOT 70%) ?
Your method of figuring would give me:
10% dot at 20% gain = 30%
That seems a bit extreme.
I think 20% gain at 10% would give me a 12% dot.
That is more in line with what my Heidi does.
