Eric, it almost sounds as if the "Absolute Gray" option is doing something
similar to an absolute rendering of your RGB image. If your image is in,
say, AdobeRGB (with a 6500K white point), you'll get a wicked cyan cast over
the whole image. Those two options also sound similar to ProfileMaker's
"Preserve Gray" and "Paper Gray" options.
And Eric, tell me again why you would have a problem spending $1,800 for RIP
software plus a hi-po $3,000-5,000 PC to drive a $300 inkjet printer? Maybe
I'm missing something here... ;-)
