The 520 will read Lab values from patches, so it could be used, at least

Hi there,
I use an application from X-Rite called X-Key. It believe it interfaces to
most hand-held X-Rite Spectros and feeds the data directly into any text app
that is running in the foreground (I use MS Excel on a MAC). You should be
able to find X-key (or at least information on how to get it) on the xrite
web site (www.xrite.com). After that, it's simply a matter of getting the
data in the right blocks and saving the file in the correct format. From
CD's repsonse, I assume that once the data has been saved to a text file,
Color Vision should be able to import the data.
