Common CYMK devices:
Offset Press with SWOP inks at 133lpi screen
Classic Matchprint
Fuji Proof
Kodak Approval set for SWOP
Dupont Water Proof
All of these CMYK devices have smaller Gamuts than RGB Adobe(1998).
You may be referring to some inkjet printers that are driven with RGB data
and are referred to as RGB printers. They are in fact CMYK or CcMmYK
printers that use a driver that does the conversion.
The only true RGB hard copy devices that I am aware of are film recorders
that write with red, green and blue light. However the dyes that they
couple to in the photo paper are CMY.
Remember I am from the offset printing and proofing community. I am sure
there are devices outside this area that have different Gamuts.
