Yes Michael, this is what Robin was saying when stated...
"Just remember, that even if
two devices have the same volume gamut, they may not produce the same
colors since the gamut's do not have to coincide."
A common example of this is most CMYK litho presses printing on a gloss
white sheet can print yellows and cyan's that most displays cannot show.
However most displays can show a much larger gamut then a cmyk litho press
can print.
