Epson HAS to leave some ink in each cart. If they don't, you get air bubbles
in the heads (very bad).
The question might arise "how much ink should be left" but that really
doesn't matter. The question should be, what's the cost of the ink and how
many prints can you get? The fact that some ink is left is kind of
immaterial. The size or quantity of ink left isn't what's important but
rather what the cost is pre cart and how many prints you end up with.
